Dunoon Pier is a leisure pier constructed from timber in the 19th century. A Category B Listed structure it has been in need of repair since 2011 when it was closed to public access. As it is a listed structure it was essential that whatever system was offered to protect the existing timber piles was in keeping with the look of the structure. SeaShield Series 500 with an FRP jacket that was specially designed to recreate the appearance of the timber pile.
